I've had these tools for over 3 years now, and am so extremely satisfied with them that I decided to post a review. Everything works wonderfully - string trimmer cuts and edges everything I've asked it to, same with hedge trimmers. Blower works great for clearing sidewalk/driveway, struggles with wet leaves on grass (but really isn't designed for that kind of job).

Batteries have worked so well that I've switched all my power tools to B&D. Of course the newer batteries work better/longer than the older ones so I pick and choose my jobs - older batteries for the flashlight, newer batteries for the circular saw and string trimmer.

Overall, a pretty good buy.

Oh, please read this Jeff Bezos - 'SUPER SAVER SHIPPING" IS KIND OF A CROCK! I placed my order, (it said in stock) and 4 days later it still hadn't shipped. I called Amazon, andgot through pretty quick. The rep explained that people that pay for shipping get theirs shipped first. So there is my box, sitting in the corner, and all the others are going out the door, because they paid the $50 to ship theirs. It is a heavy box. Super saver shipping isnt' worth it at all, unless you have plenty of time to wait!

Solid purchase; worth every penny if you buy this for it's intented use.

This cordless set is by no means a replacement for heavy duty, gas-powered tools. They are however a good substitute for electric plug-ins.

The build quality is great. I've had this set for over a year now and use all three tools every week. The auto-feeding weed whacker is simply awesome. It spools out additional line automatically and more importantly, consistently. I've replaced the stock spool thus far and that's it so I'd say it uses the line efficiently. This dual-use of the weed whacker as an edger is pretty handy and easy to use. With a simple twist I can go from weed-whacking, to edging, and then back again.

The hedge trimmers are equally as strong as my B&D plug-in that I own and has plenty of reach. The blower is handy, albeit a power sucker. It's not to be used for extended use and is only a substitute for using a broom or rake in light duty situations. Don't expect to push an entire yard's worth of leaves around with it.

The 3-pack of batteries is great. When I drain one I can quickly switch out with a back-up...twice.

I don't have any complaints with this set (for what it is). If all you have is basic maintaince to do on your landscaping then this is a great set. If you're sitting on an acre or more of land or have OCD about your landscaping then you'll want to make the investment in some gas-powered tools.

Cordless lawn tools

These tools are perfect for me. I am a small woman and I can handle them. The only problem I have found is that I can't get the screws into the plastic on the edger. It snaps in place, but has screws to further secure the shield and the screws won't go in. Also can't completely tighten the knob that holds the auxiliary handle on the edger. The edger itself works great, however.
